When I had my first son, we couldn't get breastfeeding right for anything! Not only was I engorged, with a cheap breast pump by my side that wouldn't get my milk out good, my nipples were starting to crack because I couldn't stuff enough of my breast into my baby's mouth in order for him latch on good. So what did I do.....I just waited for him to get extremely frustrated (I was already there) and when he started crying with his mouth wide open, I would stuff my nipple into his mouth. Finally he got the hang of it and everytime he wanted to eat he would cry with his mouth wide open!
