When my son was born he wouldn't latch on. Lots of midwives came to try to help us get our breastfeeding relationship started and it didn't work. I got more and more confused and frustrated as they all gave different and conflicting advice.
Knowing how important breast milk is to a growing baby I was determined to do as much as I could and so I started breast pumping.
Every few months I'd try to see if my son would latch on again but he never did and we just sort of fell into a rhythm. I've introduced solids now but he has still never had formula and I'm proud that he is so healthy and I've been able to give him breast milk exclusively for the first six months of his life even though it wasn't through breastfeeding.
It costs me money to keep this site running. If I've made your day easier it would be really helpful for me if you could spare a few dollars to help me keep the site running with useful, current information! It's your way of saying
